Where else are you surfing?

I am not sure if a post like this is allowed, but (if so) can others post what forums they visit that are similar to this one. I hit one or two others, but would love to open my horizons.

So moderators, if this is allowed, can we start posting some links or names?

It is easier to get forgivness than it is to get permission.
And I'm obviously not a moderator.

I surf a 9'6" triple stringer, usually near my house, but if there is a south swell I drive up to Back Door Nunnery.

If this wasn't a family site, I would make an inappropriate remark about that.

Re: Where else are you surfing?

OK, OK... some explanation...

There is some property owned by an order of nuns. We (locals) call it "The Nunnery". It has a jetty that sticks way out and if the swell is from the south it breaks left but there is a piling that sticks out and you almost hit it on certain days so it can be pretty dangerous. In Hawaii there is a dangerous left break at Pipeline that is called "Back Door Pipe" so we call this break, "Back Door Nunnery". It is real, but pretty damn funny too.

Today I surfed in the Atlantic Ocean with my 7' 3" Superfish, and enjoyed some nice rides on chest-high waves.

Do you wear a cap? I hate surfing in cold water. I had to many ear problems over the years.

You take a gunship back to division -- Mike, take Lance with you -- let

Hooded wetsuit. What type of ear ailments are caused by cold water?

I'm starting to get pretty sick of the cold at this point. Can't really seem to last more than 2 hrs. per session before the numbness starts to set in. The water temps should start inching upwards soon, and I can't wait for the day when my winter wetsuit can be retired for the season. Arggh!
